Branch Manager Job Description

Customer Relations

  • Monitor and ensure that the highest level of customer care is provided. Develop and establish strong customer relationships.
  • Ensure that new & potential customers are being educated on the features and benefits of the services provided.
  • Ensure that all customer complaints and billing disputes are handled professionally, appropriately and in a timely manner.

Sales

  • Meet & exceed sales budgets and profit targets for the branch.
  • Monitor selling activities, productivity and job costing for all members of the branch.
  • Set realistic, clear and precise expectations for sales team.
  • Train, evaluate and ensure work guidelines and productivity are met.
  • Assist in the development of branch budgets and assigned territories.
  • Provide effective leadership and management skills.
  • Set the example.

Field Operations

  • Enforce company safety and training policies.
  • Promote responsibility for safe and controlled work environments.

Requirements

  • Two or four year degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Floriculture, Environment Sciences, Biological Sciences or Business/Marketing.
  • Five-Seven years' industry experience could also meet requirement in lieu of formal education.
  • Excellent technical, selling, management and communication skills.
  • Previous sales experience a must; ISA certification preferred.
