Almstead Welcomes Four New Arborists to our New York and Connecticut Branch Offices

Almstead is pleased to welcome four new arborists to our New York and Connecticut branch offices this year. “We are thrilled to have them at Almstead,” said Ken Almstead, CEO. "They will be responsible for key regions essential to our operations, and I have no doubt that they will prove to be indispensable members of our team of expert arborists."

 

Matthew BurgesMatthew Burges will be servicing New Rochelle, Pelham and Larchmont from our New Rochelle office. He has over 28 years of professional experience in the landscape/tree care industry. In addition to being an ISA Certified Arborist, Matthew is also a Tree Care Industry Association Certified (TCIA) Tree Care Safety Professional, New Jersey Licensed Tree Expert, and ACRT Line Clearance/Electrical Hazard Awareness Certified.

 

Fred HoffmannFred Hoffmann joins our New Rochelle branch with over 15 years of experience as arborist and 3A Certified Pesticide applicator. He has competed in the New York State Tree Climbing Championship and is an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. Fred will be servicing New York City and parts of the Bronx, Yonkers and Mount Vernon.

 

Jeffery "Jack" LambertJeffrey “Jack” Lambert joins our Stamford, Connecticut branch with almost 10 years in arboriculture. He is an ISA Certified Arborist, Connecticut Licensed Arborist, Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ), and has pesticide licenses in New York and New Jersey. Jeffrey will primarily service New Canaan, Norwalk, Wilton, Westport, Southport and Fairfield. When not at work Jeffrey likes to work within his community improving it in a grass roots kind of way, he is a past president of the Nyack N.Y. rotary club and has previously served on the board for a local animal shelter. He lives in Suffern N.Y. with his wife and 2 dogs.

 

Michael PiperMichael Piper has been an arborist since 2016 and joins our New Rochelle branch. He will be servicing Mamaroneck, Rye, Rye Brook, Harrison, and Port Chester. Michael is an ISA Certified Arborist and is Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ). He is also a member of the New York and New Jersey ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) Chapters.
