Gardners' Party at Wave Hill

Almstead has been a steadfast supporter of the annual Gardners' Party at Wave Hill Public Garden and Cultural Center in the Bronx for 11 consecutive years. The latest event paid homage to Margaret Roach, an esteemed member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Friends of Horticulture Committee, known for her engaging New York Times column and the 'A Way to Garden' podcast.

Wave Hill, a 28-acre estate in Riverdale's Hudson Hill, is a marvel of public horticultural gardens and a cultural hub, boasting breathtaking views of the Hudson River and the New Jersey Palisades. This yearly fundraiser is vital for maintaining the excellence of Wave Hill's gardens and horticulture initiatives.

Beyond the Gardners' Party, Almstead's commitment to Wave Hill extends as a corporate sponsor and a participant in the Arbor Day festivities, where our professional tree climbers delight children with a Junior Arborist Tree Climbing Station and our arborists offer expert advice to visitors, enhancing the event's community spirit.
