Tree Planting Services

We are experts when it comes to tree and shrub planting in Fairfield County. Knowing what tree to plant – and how and where to plant it – can make all of the difference in whether it thrives or dies.

Our certified arborists can help you choose a plant or tree species that will grow faster and live longer on your particular landscape. We factor in local climate and soil conditions, deer and tick control, as well as your short and long term property goals.

Trees and shrubs you plant on your property can be considered a lifetime investment. Planting them properly is the first step to ensuring they have a healthy future.

Almstead's Connecticut branch is a proud supporter of this popular annual event. Sponsored by The City of Norwalk and The Norwalk Tree Alliance, the Festival celebrates trees and features exhibitors and displays from the “green” industry. The event is completely free for exhibitors and attendees, including admission, parking, a picnic-style lunch, juice or bottled water, face painting, and rides for kids.

Mike Almstead (VP) and Gary Norman (CT Branch Manager) are on the board of the Festival. Almstead will also provide a kids’ tree-climbing station supervised by staff arborists and climbers at the event. For more information, please visit the Facebook page of the Festival.
